If you already have a previous NAP Lockdown Browser on your laptop, please uninstall it first before you install the new browser.

Uninstall instructions

 

Press the “Windows key” on your keyboard and search for “Add or Remove Programs” and click it.

 

 

Search for “NAP and click uninstall.

 

 

Click uninstall
 


Click “Yes” for this prompt
 

 
The uninstallation process will start and once complete it will cloase on its own.

 

 

Instruction for Installing the NAP Lock Down Browser

 
Click the button below to download the NAP Browser on your windows computer.
 

After the file has completed downloading, Open your windows file explorer.

 
 

Look for the “NAP Lockdown Browser” in your downloads folder.

Double click the “Nap Locked down browser.msi” in your file explorer

The following should pop up next, click “Next” to proceed to the nexr page.

Click “Next” to proceed to the installation page.

Click “Install” to start the installation process.

The following window will appear as soon as you click “Install” click “Yes” to start the installation.

The Installation Screen will look like the screenshot below.

Once the installation is successful, Click “Finish” to complete the installation.


Verify that the NAP Locked down Browser shortcut is available on the desktop.

Important: Make sure you have the lateset version installed, your icon should be purple. 

If it is green you are not running the latest version
