The Victorian Government is sending support for all students in governemnt schools. The SSB is a one off $400 support for Government School Students from Prep – Year 12 in 2025, who are enrolled as at 18th October 2024.

The SSB is provided to help with the costs of uniform, textbooks and school activities. The SSB is in additon to exsisting and continuing means-tested supports like CSEF.

You do not need to apply for the SSB. The Department of Education will email you in November 2024 with your $400 SSB you will be able toacess it via a online system.
