Bass Coast College Wonthaggi campus held it’s annual Year 12 Arts and Technology exhibition opening on Tuesday evening, the 22nd October 2024.

The many parents and students saw a wonderful range of excellent work from our Yr 12 students.

Subjects represented were Art Creative Practice, Art Making and Exhibiting, Visual Communication Design, Media, Product Design and Technology (textiles) and Product Design and Technology (Engineering). Vocational education and training (VET) subjects Certificate II in Furniture Making pathways and Certificate III in Visual Arts were also represented.

Visitors enjoyed wonderful canapes and hors d’ouvres prepared by our VET Certificate II in Cookery Year 11 students.

Our guest speaker, ex-student, Meg Dal Masetto spoke about her experience in the arts fields and gave great advice about time after school.

The Henry Hammond Annual Visual Arts prize was awarded to Mak Krause.

Mak achieved great success in Art Making and Exhibiting, Visual Communication Design and achieved a first by being our inaugural Certificate III in Visual Arts graduate.
